Rainbows End

On Friday the 20th year 7’s went to Rainbows End. The year 8’s stayed at school while we were going. We went on a bus all the way to Manukau. Later on we got there it was packed full of other schools. Then we had to put a band on so we can go on a ride. Once we got in there we straight went on the rides I was with Toma, Dartanian, Iti, Shelford and la. La was our parent helper it was Toma's cousin the first ride we went on was the pirate ship. It was so cool that all it did was just go sideways it went higher and higher.

After that we went on the Fear Fall it I was excited to go on it but when we got on my legs were shaking i think couldn't do this. But when we went higher i was so scared I wanted to jump out but when we got right to the top…… It went down fast when it stopped I was happy that me and my friends that I was with made down we were so happy. I was lying on the hugging it and I also hugged the people that were doing the Fear Fall.

Later on we went on the motion Master it was so cool we word 3D glasses it was so amazing that we sat on these chairs that had bars on them. We were like these people who went on space with lasers it was so thrill it was pretty scary.

Next we went on the roller coaster me and my friend Dartanian did not want to go on because it looked pretty scary to me and him. While we were waiting for the others we just ate our lunch waiting.

Later on we went on bumper carts it was cool driving around in cool cars. Later on we went on the Pirate ship one more time before we had to leave to go back to school.

It was so cool to go on rides at Rainbows End I hope next year we can do this again.

Amazing Race

     Hey there have you ever did something special with your friends or classmates. Well i’m going to tell you about my story of what Pt England year 7 and 8’s did.

On 27th of October 2015 year 7 and 8’s had a Amazing Race. We got put into groups of A’s and B’s 1, 2, 3 I was with three people they were in my class there name were Night, Toma and Jordan. They were in my class our group was A2 we had to go do activities that there were only five stations. The stations were Fear Factor, Photo Booth, Pea Piper, Cooke face and Brain Booster. They were all cool stuff to do But we were with other people from our class but different number but still in Room 3A….

Me and my group went to the Brain Booster first the Teacher Running that was Mrs Fuamatu in Room one and Miss Clark Running the same game but in room two. We had five questions some of it were hard and some of it just easy. We only solved one and it was what is ancient that you can see throw and that people still have been using it the answer was Window. They were others but can’t remember some of them but there was one that you had to connect the dots by only four lines it was hard….

Our second activity was my favorite it was the photo booth we had to dress up into Ballerinas, Boxer, Hawaii and more. The Teacher running the Photo booth was Mrs Tele’a It was so cool we had to do action photo’s, serous photo’s and funny photo’s It was so cool taking photo’s with my team what was so funny is that me and Jordan were wearing ballerina clothing it was so funny to wear it that it looked like we were girls….

Our third one was Cookie face The Teacher running Cookie face was Mrs Flaval. We had to to place the cookie on our forehead and try and eat it without using our hands. My first go was a fail but started getting better but still no cookie into my mouth. What I liked about the Cookie face is that we all kept on trying no one moaning just people never giving up.

My lucky to last one was Pea Piper we all had to get a straw and suck it and hold your breath it was so hard. The Teachers also running it was Miss Hockly and Miss Misela. We all got into groups it was hard that when I suck it it taste like peas in my mouth. We came third in the race we were all finished our games and packing down.

It was so cool to have the the Amazing Race it was a good chance to play with our classmates and friends to get along.

I hope we can do our Amazing Race again this term our next year. When the year 8’s will be leaving and the year 7’s will be year 8’s and we can show the year 7’s next what we did when we were year 7’s.

Wild Orphans

A time something went missing.

When I just turned 11, my dad brought me a watch that looked pretty sweet. It was just a normal watch I didn't think it was so expensive. The color of it was blue, the numbers were colour gold and the picture on it was my favorite program called Regular Show. That is why I think it was a pretty expensive watch after I looked more closely at it. From that day on it was my favorite watch and the first watch that I had ever owned.

That same day while I was walking to school I checked the time on my watch to see if I was late. But once I looked at my wrist it was gone I had no clue where I left it. So I said to myself did I lose it or did I just leave it at home. So I went to school still wondering where my watch was. I was so emotional that I felt so sad.

Straight after school I went home looking for my watch I looked everywhere and as I was looking I had released that I didn't get my watch off my dad. So I said to my mum “When is dad coming home from work?” she said “Around 10:00 o’clock” I had to wait till the next day because I had to go to sleep early for school.. But couldn't go to sleep because I was so excited for it.

The next day I told my dad where is my Watch and he said “It’s in my bag go and see.” I looked in my dad’s bag there it is I found my watch I was so happy that now I can take it to school and I will now the time so I won’t be late.

History of Superman.

Immersion Assembly

IMMERSION ASSEMBLY

On the first day of term 4 school started. It was another day to start learning. When I got to school everyone was going to the hall because we were having a school immersion assembly. I am going to tell you of my two best items.

First up is Mr Burt’s item.  

Mr Burt showed us a short film about a little bird called Fiapoko Parrot that was living in Pt. Dingaling reserve. He was so annoying that he kept on bugging kids trying to say the prayer and even bugging them when they were reading the bible. So one day the kids rang the Fiapoko Parrot Hunter to catch the annoying bird. Then the Fiapoko Parrot Hunter came. He was ready to catch it. He found it hiding in a bush the Fiapoko Parrot Hunter creeped to the bird and then shanked his head off went inside and cooked it in the oven and ate it for dinner then they lived happily ever after. What I thought about this film is that Mr Burt had enough time to make a movie. So he can show off what he did in the Holidays.

Now for the second best.  Mr Burt called out It’s time for team one then Mrs george came and told us about what will they be doing. Team one will be going to the zoo to learn how animals adapt. Then someone was yelling in the audience saying is that all??  It was Miss King. Then Mrs George said how about a Karaoke - would that help? Mrs King replied okay then Mrs george said we need three volunteers to sing but it ended up being 13 boys and girls. The song was Katy Perry Roar.  The winner of the singing was Mrs King's daughter Marika. Marika’s prize was going to the team one Zoo trip. Marika was not shy at all. She was very brave on stage and good at danceing.

If you have already heard that there is a new movie coming up it is Batman vs. Superman. I wounder who is going to win the battle. I think it will be Superman because he is powerful, strong and he can mostly fight the whole other heroes in the day time. But on the other hand there is Batman he always use's gadgets plus he is really strong and powerful to.

I am going to explain how people receive money.

If you need money there are heaps of ways to receiving money. I’m going to tell you of how youth can receive money to help with their education. This is called a scholarship. You can win a scholarship by being a top academic person in your year level, top sports person, outstanding leadership and possibly more.  These scholarships are presented at school prize-givings and sometimes earlier.

Chelsea was able to dribble the ball 58 times.
Elizabeth could only dribble half that amount.
Semi could only dribble the ball 7 times more than Chelsea.
Izac could dribble the ball 3 times more than Elizabeth

Hi my name is Izac I am 11 years old I am a year 7 I go to pt England School. I have 5 brothers. Three older brothers and two little brothers. My favorite sports team is the Warriors because Shaun Johnson  because he is the best person I know at stepping.

I have a dog name Fehow it is a girl she is a Pittbull we got her when she was a puppy. My favourite subject at school is tough, maths and writing also I love to learn new things so I can get ready for College. My learning goals is to do well in my maths, reading and writing. I am good at Rugby League because I like to tackle and win for my team. I am also good at High Jump. Sometimes I don’t make it to the internet's because there are good people to beat. I really like Pt England School because it is making me be better at working with what I need to change my self with a Positive attitude and bring my Hearing Adds to school.

My day

On the 19th of March I went to the sports day for the Kelston deaf Education Center. But wait there is more while I was gone the year 7 and 8’s went to the Polyfest out in Manukau. It was fun at the sports day because I met new friends there names were Tangi, Wiremu, Tevita and Ricky. I did running I came 4th also did long jump and did discus I came 2nd in high jump. But while we were doing it the rain came pouring down. So the manager told us and the other kids that it is dangerous to do the activity and they had to cancel it. So while we were going I was in the car with Rosemary and we stopped at the Mcdonalds to go and get use an ice cream with  M&M. After school I went to my drama class with Miss Muliaumasealii we all learnt the Kailao. It is a wood stick that the Tongan boys dance with. When I went home my mum said get changed we are going to Tamaki college for the Samoan dance. My brother’s name is George he is a year 13 and he is a Prefect at Tamaki College. After the show my Mum, Dad and my 3 little brothers and I went to the Mcdonalds to buy the X Factor family pack. I had a really good day at the sports day and at Tamaki I am also looking forward to Tamaki so I can be like my brother George at Polyfest.

My Holiday Highlight.

My holiday highlight were when I went to my brothers house. I slept over so we could go bowling. I went with my two brothers and my brothers wife with her brothers and nieces. We went to the Botany Extreme Bowling it was fun I came 3rd 126. Then I went to a holiday program called Tamaki Pride It was so fun there I went with my four Brothers George, Sione, Fonzo and Exodus.

It was awesome there it’s coming up these April holidays if you would like to come. Also in December when school will finish. On the last week of the Holiday I went and my slept over My Aunt’s house. It was so cool because we went to the Mangere with my aunt and her 3 kids named Ben, Lee and Salafai. It was so cool there we had fun I wish if I went there again. Then I had to go home to get ready for school. School was on I was so glad to be at school to meet my friends. My teacher is Mrs Tele’a and my four back up teachers are Miss Peato, Mrs Moala, Mr Wiseman and Miss Clark. They are very kind and they always say the right things to me.
